About Us

We are a father and son team, David from Generation X and Ted from Generation Z. Dad, David was born into a working class family in West Yorkshire. He went to grammar school and was the first of his family ever to go to University. Son, Ted, is just about Generation Z, being born into what has become a middle-class family. David studied to be an engineer, so brings a problem-solving approach to politics and policy based on data, empirical analysis and first-principles thinking. Ted is an history student at a leading university. According to popular culture Ted should have no-platformed David a long time ago. But surprisingly, this hasn’t happened, because Ted has steadfastly avoided taking the blue-pill of ignorant delusion.

So, we thought it would be a good idea to start a website and blog to discuss contemporary issues from the point of view of a Generation X engineer and from the point of view of a Generation Z humanities student and see where we agree and where we differ. The hope is that we can come up with new ideas to contribute to the debate on current affairs.

The website contains a few pages covering fundamental beliefs and big topics, a blog covering contemporary topics in current affairs and some links to other places where we gain inspiration.
